Information we handle
This public website is operated for Shri Sitaram Higher Secondary School. It provides information about the school, admissions, academic approach, notices, activities and contact channels. The current website does not use a public enquiry form, online payment system or advertising tracker.
Like most hosted websites, the server may create limited technical logs such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, time and error details. These logs are used for security, reliability and troubleshooting and should be retained only for the period reasonably required for those purposes.
School and connected-platform media
The gallery may display photographs, video posters, approved videos, captions and publication dates from school-owned archives or the school’s official Instagram and Facebook accounts. Connected-platform content is fetched by a scheduled server process and cached locally so the website remains reliable. It is presented through the school’s own accessible layout rather than a social-media embed.
The school should publish identifiable student media only where it has an appropriate educational purpose and the necessary rights, notices and permissions. Website captions may be edited for clarity, but the original source link is retained for synced stories where available.
Cookies and security
Public pages do not require an account. An essential, secure session cookie is used only when authorised staff sign in to the private notice and media dashboard. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Administrative credentials and social-platform access tokens are stored separately from public gallery data and are never intentionally exposed in page source.
Children’s privacy
School media can involve children and therefore requires particular care. Parents, guardians, students and staff may contact the school if they believe an image, video, name or caption should be reviewed, corrected or removed. The school should act promptly while confirming the request and the relevant record.
Removal and connected-platform data deletion
To request removal of a gallery item or deletion of data obtained through the school’s Meta connection, email info@shrisitaramic.com with the subject Website data deletion request. Include the page or post link, a clear description of the material and enough information for the school to verify the request. Please do not email passwords, access tokens or unnecessary identity documents.
After verification, the school will remove or restrict the relevant local record and cached media, and where appropriate remove or update the source post through the account that published it. After a complete successful synchronisation, a recent item no longer returned by its source is hidden for staff review; permanent removal from the dashboard deletes the local record and its unreferenced cached file and blocks re-import. The school will confirm completion or explain any legitimate reason that requires limited retention.
